UPS Power Services and its partners do keep in stock (for immediate despatch) suitable replacement products, spares parts and consumables which are suitable for use with the ABB and PowerWave product. These are genuine OEM spare parts and products sourced directly from the product, UPS and battery Original Equipment Manufacturer. Although these replacement parts and spares are not sourced through Kohler UPS or ABB, they are a direct or equivalent replacement with equal or improved performance capabilities. Where parts are sourced directly from the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), it can often result in a significant cost saving.

Certain models of new PowerWave UPS products, accessories and spares are available from Kohler UPS directly for sale to any organisation on their website, should you require any technical support on these models, or wish for UPS Power Services to purchase, install and commission on your behalf, feel free to contact us.

Due to the extensive installation base of PowerWave and ABB UPS within the UK over the years, there are a number of previously installed, now decommissioned products available from the refurbished and second user market. UPS Power Services are able to provide third party advice on installation or testing services of such equipment or offer unbiased advice on their suitable future use.

PowerWave UPS Battery Replacement

The batteries are critical to the integrity of your UPS system. Most modern UPS systems will perform and monitor short battery tests on a regular basis, however it is also essential to maintain these systems to ensure they will operate correctly when needed.

UPS Power Services can supply, install, maintain or replace a wide variety of batteries, the most common being sealed lead acid (VRLA) with a 5 or 10 year design life.
